Steps to Becoming a Member
You will need to start by logging into your online account by clicking here.
Select Type of Membership
Once you have logged in start by clicking "Membership".
Select Your Home Branch
When you join one Y, you join them all, but before you become a member, you will want to find the Y that will be your home branch. Your Y home branch should be the Y you expect to use most often. This choice will also personalize your online experience and preselect content and program offerings. Click one of the locations to continue.
Find the Right Membership Type
Select the membership category that is right for you by clicking one of the 4 options. Please note, Memberships are perpetual with the billing cycle being every 1st of the Month.
Please note that each Membership Category offers different options based on who you want to be on the Membership. In this example we will be using a Adult Membership at Mission Valley. Click "Select" on the ride side.
Next you will need to select the contact to be added. Here you are also able, if needed, to add any additional family members.
Once you have selected the Contact, your Membership will be added to your shopping cart. Clicking the shopping cart will allow you to see a Transaction Summary prior to purchase. If everything looks correct, please click "Next".
Next we will need you to provide at least 1 Emergency Contact. Required fields have an asterisk*.
Any required Waivers will show up in this next step and will require you to review and electronically sign before continuing. Once signed, please click Finish.
Next, click "Pay Now" to finalize and set up your monthly payment.
Set up Payment Method
Here payment will need to be collected for the $60 Joiner's Fee and Prorate. Click "Make Payment".
You will need to click the up/down arrows to select Credit Card as the "Tender Type".
In this next step, please note the you will need to save your payment card for your future automatic payments by clicking "Save on File" and a blue check mark will appear as shown below. Next, you will need to enter a Nickname and click Next.
Next enter you card information and click "Process Transaction". Then click the green "Done" box in the upper righthand corner.
The last step will give you the option to have a email confirmation sent to you:
To complete the activation of your membership for facility use you will need to visit your home branch and bring the following.
A valid form of identification – driver’s license, military identification, passport, etc.
Your best smile for the photo on your membership card.
